Mackenzie Health only has limited availability of COVID-19 tests for those who meet the government's current eligibility criteria. We offer blood tests and other advanced testing services to help you and your VA health care team monitor your health, find and understand any health problems and make informed treatment decisions. Your VA primary care provider will work closely with you to plan for all the care you need to stay healthy and well throughout your life, including immunizations and vaccinations. At their appointment, patients will be assessed by a physician who will be able to provide a diagnosis and treatment options without the patient needing to wait in the Emergency Department waiting area. Please note that being assessed by a physician does not guarantee you will receive a COVID-19 test. And Mackenzie Health permits all patients to have an unlimited number of visitors between visiting hours, though only two visitors will be permitted in a patient room at the same time. We value and appreciate the very important role visitors play in the lives of our patients. The safety of our patients, families, staff, physicians, and volunteers is our top priority. We also recognize the integral role and impact that loved ones have in providing support to patients.

Our comprehensive transitional care program helps ensure that you will remain safely and comfortably in your home when transitioning from a hospital or rehab.
